Nanoscale skyrmions enable ultralow-power nonvolatile logic gate designs due to their current-driven motion and topological protection. A key building block in skyrmion-based digital spintronics is the inverter (not) gate. Despite recent computational practical demonstrations, a low-power, wideband, cascadable still long way off. For circuits, systematic design analysis of an essential. Here we present skyrmion analyze its full operation using micromagnetic modeling. Because substrate thermal conductivity, our investigations reveal that all-metallic can function with direct current drive, wide bandwidth, submicron footprint, no or low external magnetic field, cascadability, room-temperature stability despite Joule heating. Using insulators for eliminating heating lowering exchange stiffness, moment other factors might further assist reducing power consumption by more than four orders magnitude.
